These two morning online workshops are designed to explore how SFBT approaches and techniques can be used with online clients. They will take place in Windows Live Messenger, so you need to have set this up before the workshops begin. If you do not know how to do this, I will help you to set it up. Although it is not necessary to have trained in SFBT, it would be helpful if you already have some background knowledge in the key elements of this approach. Background notes will be sent to you before the workshops begin.
The workshop will adopt a SFBT approach to the training, and therefore you should ask yourself this question beforehand: ‘How will I know at the end of the workshops whether it has been worth while taking part?' Try to be as specific as possible when answering.
There will also be ‘homework tasks', both before and between the two mornings, so you need to allow up to an hour each to complete these two tasks.
The workshop will consider how the tasks of the counsellor can be adapted to online work, both in real time, and through email exchanges. We will also consider the stages of SFBT, and their relevance to online practice. You will have the opportunity to experience being both a client and a counsellor.
The workshops are designed to be interactive, and I hope you will enjoy them, as well as gaining insight and information. Please contact me if you wish to discuss them before enrolling on them using the link here.

I look forward to working with you.
